I’ve been called every name in the book (haha, get it?). "What Paige are we on?" followed by laughter was the soundtrack of my youth. I like a good pun as much as the next guy but c'mon, put a little effort in. I mean, Yo-skinrash was right there! It wasn't the teasing that made me cringe, but the lack of creativity.
I have embraced my name, honestly. And is there a better name for a writer? Trust me, it looked really good in the credits of the plays I wrote in elementary school (click the link for evidence). To this day, I am fascinated by the effect the smallest detail can have on my writing. I've come a long way from the kid with notes for her unimaginative classmates. Every time I bleed on the "Paige" I make it my mission to make every word count.
